Dear Kenoshans,
It doesn’t seem like four years ago, but in 2008 I was elected Mayor of
this great City and it has been an honor to serve the citizens of
Kenosha. It has also been a challenge. These four years have been some
of the most difficult times that our City and our citizens have had to
endure. The world economy has been struggling. The local economy has
done the same.
Through it all, I think we have tried to deliver the services that our
citizens expect. As Mayor, I have put a high priority on re-building our
infrastructure, eliminating blight, keeping our city clean and maintaining
Kenosha as a safe place to live and raise a family.
We have shrunk the size of City government, combined departments and kept
our budget increases below the rate of inflation in spite of shrinking
revenues.
2012 is just around the corner. Earlier this year, I announced that I
would be pleased to serve a second term as your Mayor. The time has come
to begin preparing for the February primary and April general election.
I need your help. Please consider attending our fifth annual
Thanksgiving Eve fundraiser. We will be getting together with our friends
at the Casa Capri on Wednesday, November 23rd , from 5:00 to 7:00
p.m. All donations are welcome.
If you cannot make our get-together at the Casa Capri, please consider a
donation to my campaign.
Please help me continue to move Kenosha forward through these difficult
times.
Yours truly,
Keith Bosman
